I' applying for a provisional driving licence this week and I'm currently filling out the form I've got to the part 5 (your proof of Identity) (I'm having to send my birth certificate as I don't have any of the other I.D). Below that it says 'Please write the serial(s) of the document(s) you are enclosing. I don't seem to see a serial on it, what do I put down? It does have an Application number and a QBDY number - what ever they are. Also is the Birth Certificate, origional letter about claims on state benefit and NI card enough for them? I'm only asking this point as I don't want to have to send it off, wait 3 weeks for it to come back saying there is an error and they have to send it off again for another 3 week wait.
