Forum rules Please read the following rules before posting a download request in this area: 1. Don't post a request if you have under 10 posts as stated on the front page. If you do anyway, it will be deleted without further notice. This also applies to other members: If you see a request by someone with less than 10 posts and it hasn't been deleted yet, please don't reply to it. Don't request for warez or any copyrighted software. Only betas (no matter how old or new) and finals of operating systems and applications that are at least 10 years old and therefore classified as abandonware are allowed to be uploaded to and shared on the BetaArchive FTP server.

If you have your own FTP server where you'd like other members to upload what you're looking for to, please don't post its login details in any open forum as that will probably lead to abuse. Post the login details in the Private Servers section instead. Check that we don't already have the file on our FTP servers. If you don't have access to the FTP servers then ask someone who has (a moderator for example).

There is only one Windows Powered version, it was released as SAK kit to OEMs so they could build, add shell, drivers. All pre-built versions are fake.

Windows Powered for NAS devices was stand-alone product, which was something like BETA version of 2000 Embedded (Embedded was never released). It was built W2k SERVER code base, OEMs used WINNT style target designer to make it. YRMWFPPEN.iso was released to developers in May, 2000. It was version of WPfNAS, but with installation like other W2k.

This version wasn't designed to use in real NAS products, so SP2 or later installation will revert the branding to WINDOWS 2000 AS from POWERED. Since Windows 2000 Embedded was abandoned, in early 2001, microsoft released an update which reverts branding to AS version.

Then Microsoft concentrated into development of Windows 2003 Storage Server and Unified Storage Server (know as Windows Codename 'Whistler' Server). Further reading. We used that version on one of our development machines in early 2000s. We also had a copy of Windows Powered NAS targed designer, which, de facto was Windows Embedded NT4 designer with similar options. I still remember, the Powered versions consisted 1 CD, while the toolkit consisted all 5 cds.

But sadly I don't have these anymore. I shredded disks with a lot of hard drives and other computer stuff in 2005, as I thought discs were worthless. I was so wrong EDIT: if you'll manage to download, please upload the ISO to MEGA. We used that version on one of our development machines in early 2000s.

The difficulties of being a preservationist which destroyed rare stuff in the past. However, I did have good luck with seemingly dead torrents in the past (when a Windows XP PE one suddenly began downloading), maybe we might get lucky.

Yea, I found a Windows 2000 Professional SP2 torrent on thepiratebay.se which said to have no seeds and this 'untouched' Windows XP Professional SP2 which was indentical to a pirated disc I have expect that it wasn't bootable and also had no seeds and I was able to seed both of these and one of them which I think was the Windows 2000 one (I forgot as it changed on both) said they had only one leecher and this happened from using the Torrent instead of the magnet. Just go to torcache.net/torrent/(HASH).torrent and that can maybe convert it. I am a hardware guy not a software guy. I am on windows powered right now. I have a iso that I installed that said it was or is a nas server?

First powered screen I see at start up says hit Crtl, Alt, delete and then asks for my password. (edit: wrong, two windows powered screens before password, another after password, another at shut down) During install it ask for a key, a COA number and what came with this iso is the win me beta key, COA, and that worked. In one spot it says its windows 2000 5.00.2195 sp4. Under system summary it says its Microsoft Windows Powered 5.00.2195 sp4. I run Firefox 10esr, it came with IE5. Real or not I do not know?

If not then it is as close as I will get. Last edited by on Mon May 30, 2016 11:25 pm, edited 1 time in total. I am a hardware guy not a software guy. I am on windows powered right now.

Could you upload it somewhere? What is the label when it is put into a drive? (Sorry if it feels like I am bombarding you with questions) 'Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. With CD in drive Small letters accross top, Microsoft Windows 2000 CD then way larger letters under that, Microsoft Windows 2000 Powered Then under that, install windows 2000 install add-on components browse this cd exit Where ISO came from says it is a NAS SERVER I would like to trade it for win me beta 2380.2 from the FTP on this site. I have 2380.2 from two other sites the one on this site is different.

You do realize that uploading something like that should give you access to the FTP right? Including your ME beta. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk When in doubt. A tip from this site said NTOSKRNL.EXE can show the build number, my powered iso shows 5.0.2195.6717 and that is a sp4 and I said above that my iso is a sp4. This site only wants real not fake software so how do I 100% know? Does this site want this ISO? If so I will try to download it, its a copy not a orig disk so I would I only send the correct image of the CD?

You even read the rules? This site doesn't take any old ISOs, just MDF dumps and 1200DPI scans. However, for our interests of proving this exists it would be nice if you could link the file, however this won't get you FTP access Sent from my XT1562 using Tapatalk Any users with a KryoFlux in the UK: if you could dump some floppies if I send them to you, that'd be awesome. On the net, sometimes on ebay, you can get CD/DVDs or a usb stick that have real ISOs that need real keys for orig software. I found windows powered on one of these. The ISO has all types of windows 2000 and you can install anyone from this ISO or you can have it put one of the ISOs in your system on the hard drive so you can make a CD from it. It is from this that I got the windows powered.

Oscollect oscollect then select oscollect os windows final releases windows 2000 top of this list is a iso that has all the windows 2000 ISOs in it. Download Make a CD, depends what program you use, some have more over head, might take a DVD run it, it will ask which 2000 you want to install or which 2000 you want it to make a ISO of and it will put that on your hard drive so you can burn it to a CD. Have fun I have a DVD with full program and a CD with just powered.

Either way, this site doesn't accept anything from non-original media Any users with a KryoFlux in the UK: if you could dump some floppies if I send them to you, that'd be awesome. It is totally possible that it CAME from original disks since the ISO was last modified in February of 2005. EDIT: There is an option to make individual ISOs. Powered is labeled as NAS Server in the setup. The ISO name is WIN2KPOWEN.ISO. EDIT 2: The build number for WINNT32.EXE is 5.00.2143.1.
